LA PLUME DE DAVID ALEXANDRE LIEBERMANN

Flames in the water

My whole body is on fire,
And my heart begins to beat.
I am filled with deep desire,
As my mind takes in the heat.

The strong wind cannot calm me down,
Its blowing only feeds the fire.
Tornadoes make me hold my ground,
The gentle breeze takes me much higher.

I am slowly going crazy,
Trying hard to stand up tall.
Though my mind is getting hazy,
I will not let myself fall.

You are the object of my passion,
The only one who lets me be.
You calm me in a gentle fashion,
When whispering your call to me.

You are the river flowing deep,
That comforts me and brings me rest.
You are the power I will keep,
The endless passion in my chest.

I safely burn inside of you,
Your water keeps me from the pain.
You make my greatest dream come true,
My everything, my gentle rain.

I love you madly, wild and free,
I care for you with all my might.
Your gentle touch is blessing me,
I love you more both day and night.

You are my home, my peace, my light,
No storm can blow our love away.
This burning flame will shine so bright,
Beside your heart I will always stay.
