Beginning of a journey

I can't sleep
I don't know why
I am alone for the first time
In many and many years

I am here to discover
What is hiding inside me
To get out the real me
And find the peace in me

I need to let it go
To let my defence down
To open my heart to the unknown
And enjoy the company of others

It is now or never
To finally meet myself
To bring peace in my mind
And let my instinct talk

Away from all turbulence
Surrendering with friends
May this journey begins
Wherever it will bring me

Let the fear and the blockage
Vanish into the night
And bring the light to me

The light of love and friendship
To change the course of the darkness
And bring sunshine
Into my soul.
